54. Deputy Jack Wall asked the Minister for Finance if a person (details supplied) in County Kildare is being deducted the correct amount of tax on their pension; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6342/15]
Amharc ar fhreagraI have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that, on the basis of the information currently available to them, the correct tax is being deducted from the individual concerned. I understand that Revenue have made arrangements to send a tax credit certificate to the person concerned detailing how the tax credits have been calculated. If the person concerned has any questions in relation to those credits, he can contact Revenue in the matter using the contact information provided on the certificate.
