Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Finance if he will provide an outline of plans Allied Irish Banks or the Educational Building Society may have to sell non-performing mortgages; the number, and book value, of mortgages under consideration for sale; the current position with regard to any proposed sale; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
