239. Deputy Billy Kelleher asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform if he will reconsider the transfer of the senior alert scheme to Pobal, as there have been a number of issues raised (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10357/15]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Department of Environment, Community and Local Government manages the Seniors Alert Scheme which encourages community support for vulnerable older people in our communities by providing grant assistance towards the purchase and installation of personal monitored alarms. Therefore, this question is more appropriate for my colleague the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government.
