Deputy Seán Kyne asked the Minister for Education and Skills if a site has been acquired at a location (details supplied) in County Galway for a new vocational school; if the design team has been appointed in advance of the project; and when it is envisaged that a planning application will be submitted. Amharc ar fhreagraI can confirm that the site acquisition process is advancing to facilitate the provision of a new school building for the school referred to by the Deputy. Once the acquisition of the site is finalised, my Department will be in contact with the school authorities in relation to the location of the school and the progression of the building project.
