Deputy Billy Kelleher asked the Minister for Health if he will extend funding to the Neurological Alliance of Ireland to prevent the loss of services and jobs due to the delay in funding, following the review that has been underway since June 2014; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe Neurological Alliance of Ireland receives funding under the Scheme to Support National Organisations. This scheme is operated by the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government. I understand that bridging funding continues to be provided by the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government to the Neurological Alliance of Ireland pending the outcome of a review of the scheme which is currently being undertaken by that Department.
