565. Deputy Jonathan O'Brien asked the Minister for Education and Skills her plans to keep the inventory of school accommodation updated on a regular basis. [12841/15]

The inventory of school accommodation to which the Deputy refers is an online inventory which schools complete through the Department's Esinet portal. This Inventory provides indicative data and statistics on the existing school building stock throughout the country at both primary and post-primary levels. To date over 80% of schools have completed or are in the process of completing this inventory. From time to time it is the Department's intention to use a prompt facility built into the system to ask schools to access the Esinet portal and provide accommodation updates as necessary.
