Deputy Sandra McLellan asked the Minister for Health the reason a school (details supplied) in County Waterford has been without a speech and language therapist since November 2014; his views that this is acceptable; when this vital therapy will be restored; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The particular issue raised by the Deputy is a service matter for the Health Service Executive. Accordingly I have arranged for the question to be referred to the Health Service Executive for direct reply to the Deputy.
