Deputy Seán Kyne asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if privately owned areas of land designated as natural heritage areas but not designated as Natura are eligible for the €79 per hectare payment as farmland habitat, and eligible for Tier 1 priority under the green low-carbon agri-environmental scheme; if not, the reason these areas are not eligible; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
