Durkan asked the Minister for Justice and Equality the number of legally held shotguns or handguns reported stolen from households in each of the past ten years and in 2015 to date; the extent to which such weapons have subsequently been used in the committal of crimes; the number of gun-related crimes committed, which indicate the use of weapons acquired through other sources; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
