72. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection if increased rent support will be offered in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare whose rent has increased to €1,200 per month, who works part-time and who has one child of 12 years of age; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The client concerned has been requested to provide the Department with an up to date Rent Supplement application form and lease agreement confirming any increase in monthly rent. Current payslips have also been requested, the case will be examined when the necessary information is received by the Department.
