Amharc ar fhreagraThe Public Appointments Service (PAS) is managing the recruitment process for the Garda Commissioner and I have no direct involvement in the matter. I have, however, been informed that there are no restrictions on individuals reapplying in the event of a new competition being advertised (subject to them meeting the eligibility criteria applicable at that time), irrespective of their results from previous similar recruitment competitions.
