120. Deputy Dominic Hannigan asked the Minister for Education and Skills if she will confirm that a special needs unit will be provided in a school (details supplied) in County Meath when it is built; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [16903/15]
Amharc ar fhreagraI wish to confirm for the Deputy that a Special Needs Unit is being provided as part of the building project for the school to which he refers. The project is currently at tender stage. As an interim measure pending the construction of the new school, my Department approved temporary accommodation for a Special Needs Unit at the school for September 2015.
