Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number of green low-carbon agri-environmental scheme planners approved and registered with his Department to date; the number of commonage planners approved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraAll GLAS applications must be made online and must be prepared and submitted by an approved GLAS advisor. There are 514 GLAS A dvisors approved and registered with my Department, as published on the ‘ List of Approved Advisor’ on the Department’s website. Of these, 272 have successfully completed the additional training required to be approved as a commonage planner. Only an approved GLAS advisor who has also completed this additional commonage training can draw up a Commonage Management Plan.
