175. Deputy Dominic Hannigan asked the Minister for Education and Skills her plans for the building of a sports hall at a school (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [17063/15]
Amharc ar fhreagraI can confirm that my Department has an application on file from the school in question for a PE Hall. The school has five class teachers and enrolments are showing a slight decline in the current school year.
My Department's focus in recent years has been on prioritising the funding available for the provision of essential classroom accommodation. The school's application will be retained in the event of any future funding becoming available.
