Deputy Noel Grealish asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when he envisages that the IT system will be established, in order to allow processing of the agri-environment options scheme payments that have incurred penalties; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraAdditional modifications to the AEOS IT System to allow payments in a number of cases where penalties have been incurred are currently being tested. The procedure in question is required to ensure full compatibility with all EU regulations and to provide an enhanced audit trail. Following successful testing, the processing of remaining payments will be made.
