489. Deputy Clare Daly asked the Minister for Health if he will clarify the current policy on food intolerance testing. [18540/15]

Food intolerance/allergy testing services are available in the primary care setting from GPs and pharmacies. Such tests are also available in many public hospitals which provide further services for the identification and management of allergies. If an individual has symptoms of food intolerance, they should seek advice from their GP in the first instance.
