Durkan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection if rent support can be paid in the case of persons (details supplied) in County Kildare; if it is recognised that the landlord in question opted not to proceed with a rent accommodation scheme, thereby leaving the persons dependent on private rent support, in lieu of local authority housing; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
