The table sets out details of the overseas visits I am planning between now and the end of 2015. In addition Minister of State Hayes will travel to Rome from 9 to 11 June to address the 39th session of the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) Conference.
The purpose of these visits varies. By and large the objective of my visits to other EU Member States relates to agriculture and fisheries policy development while my visits outside the EU are with a view to promoting Irish exports and to encouraging foreign direct investment. In the course of these visits, I will meet key Ministers, Government officials, fellow-politicians and senior business figures. I can confirm that in all of my overseas travel I will continue to promote Ireland as a good place for doing business and as a destination for foreign direct investment.
