738. Deputy Clare Daly asked the Minister for Health the way improvements in access to psychotherapy and psychotherapeutic interventions, which the Health Service Executive National Service Plan 2015 commits to deliver, are to be measured and evaluated. [20715/15]
Amharc ar fhreagraAccess to psychotherapy and psychotherapeutic interventions are part of a number of interventions which can be of assistance to persons experiencing mental health difficulties. Such interventions might also include counselling support. The HSE is committed to considering the role of these services in its overall mental health service provision.
As the specific commitment in the HSE 2015 National Service Plan is a service matter being carried out by the HSE, I have referred this question to the Executive for direct reply.
