Deputy Ruth Coppinger asked the Minister for Health further to Question No. 448 of 31 March 2015, if he will report on the recruitment of theatre nurses and consultant anaesthetists in Beaumont Hospital, Dublin 9; his views on fewer operations and procedures taking place in the hospital in the first quarter of 2015 compared to the first quarter of 2014; his further views on the staffing situation in the emergency department of the hospital and the notice of industrial action by the INMO due to these shortages; and the steps he will take to increase staffing in Beaumont Hospital and other hospitals.
