Deputy Willie Penrose asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the amount of money that was allocated to Westmeath County Council for the construction of local authority housing in each of the years 2004 to 2011; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraUnder my Department's Social Housing Capital Investment Programme, funding is provided to housing authorities to increase their supply of social housing stock through the construction and acquisition of houses and apartments. Details of the funding provided to Westmeath County Council in this regard from 2004 to 2011 are contained in the table.
