102. Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the reason sheep fencing is not eligible for support under the new targeted agricultural modernisation scheme for young farmers; if this matter can be reviewed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22838/15]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe range of investment items included under the various TAMS measures was informed by the SWOT and needs analyses undertaken as part of the development of the new Rural Development Programme, as well as by an extensive consultation process with the various stakeholders. The funding of sheep fencing did not emerge as a priority from that process. However, I will keep the matter under review.
