636. Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin asked the Minister for Health the current status of the vocational training scheme in dentistry, which was paused in 2010; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23765/15]
Amharc ar fhreagraA review of the undergraduate training for dentists will be conducted as part of the development by the Department of Health of a new national oral health policy. A review group will be put in place shortly to assess current undergraduate training in Ireland and best practice elsewhere. This will include consideration of vocational training.
