Mattie McGrath
Ceist:802. Deputy Mattie McGrath asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government further to Parliamentary Question No. 1025 of 9 June 2015, in which he stated that there is no provision in law for making changes to the register of electors at a polling station, the reason a local authority could have issued a vote by way of a letter to a person whose name was not on the register, to enable that person to vote on the day of an election / referendum, where that person's name was not on the register of electors; if this action was legal; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
