195. Deputy Jack Wall asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection the reason a person (details supplied) in County Kildare has not received back money due in relation to the person's child; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [26223/15]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe client has a child dependant, date of birth 19/02/2014. An additional child claim should be made within three months of becoming eligible to prevent loss of entitlement. An application to have the child added as a dependant to her One Parent Family Payment claim was received on 14/10/2014, following a lapse of eight months. The client’s additional child was included following receipt of her application on 16/10/2014. No arrears are due to the client.
