Durkan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection if a decision has been made in respect of rent support in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare who has submitted the requested documentation; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraDuring a recent review of the client's Rent Supplement, her rental rate was found to have increased to a rate outside of the maximum limit for her location and family composition and her payment was suspended. The client has been requested to seek a reduction to within the maximum limit. A Rent Supplement application has been issued to the client for confirmation of this reduction. This should be returned immediately to the Mid Leinster Rents Unit for re-assessment of her entitlement.
