576. Deputy Jerry Buttimer asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the reason there are delays in exchanging New Zealand driving licences for Irish driving licences; the efforts being made to reduce these delays; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27207/15]

This is an operational issue for the National Driver Licensing Service operated by the Road Safety Authority.  I have therefore referred the question to the Authority for direct reply.  I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response has not been received within ten days.
