721. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the number of housing units offered to local authority housing applicants in County Kildare in the past six months; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [29674/15]

Under Section 22 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009, all local authorities are required to make a housing allocation scheme, the making of which is a reserved function of the elected members of the local authority concerned, in this case Kildare County Council.
