Deputy Jerry Buttimer asked the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources if he will liaise with An Post to ensure that Irish postage stamps are profiled internationally at philatelic exhibitions; given the historical significance of the 1916 centenary commemorations, if he will consider Ireland’s participation in the World Stamp Show 2016 taking place in New York; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
