80. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection whether an extension of a community employment scheme will be offered to a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [32676/15]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person concerned commenced on a community employment (CE) scheme sponsored by the North Kildare Leisure Club Ltd on 2/11/2009 and is due to finish with this CE scheme on 23/10/2015. The person concerned is eligible to participate for a maximum of six years on CE which they will have completed on the 23/10/2015.
As the person concerned will have utilised their maximum time allowable on CE in October 2015 it is then open to him to contact his local Intreo office in order to seek information regarding the training and employment opportunities that may be available to him.
