166. Deputy Colm Keaveney asked the Minister for Justice and Equality her plans to assess and resource the additional cost associated with having a disability, which was highlighted in the comprehensive employment strategy for people with disabilities. [35403/15]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs already announced, the Comprehensive Employment Strategy for People with Disabilities contains a commitment to establish an interdepartmental working group to deal with the question of 'making work pay' for people with disabilities through the examination of the complex interactions between the benefit system, the additional costs associated with work for people with disabilities and net income gains in employment. This interdepartmental group will operate under the aegis of the Department of Social Protection.
