Durkan asked the Minister for Health to set out the number of nursing staff recruited at Naas General Hospital in County Kildare; those who have taken up duty; the extent to which adequate provision has been made to ensure the full utilisation of the space available within the hospital and the elimination of overcrowding in the accident and emergency unit and the use of trolleys in lieu of beds; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
