Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the amount of assistance paid to Clare County Council in 2014 and to date in 2015 towards the upgrading of the pier in Doolin in County Clare; the subhead in the Revised Estimates that this funding was paid under; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department made grant payments to Clare County Council towards the extension and upgrading of the pier at Doolin, Co. Clare in the amount of €2 Million in 2014 and €2 Million to date in 2015. This funding was paid under subhead D.7.
