222. Deputy Thomas Pringle asked the Minister for Education and Skills when her Department will release the list of schools to receive funding from the capital spending plan, 2016 to 2021, as part of the programme to replace existing prefabricated school buildings with permanent classrooms and facilities; and if she will make a statement on the matter. On 29 September, 2015 I announced that significant capital funding will be invested in the education system through the Government's €27bn Capital Programme. The intention is to replace all purchased prefabs with permanent accommodation over the lifetime of the programme. Details of the schools are not available at this time.
