Deputy Joan Collins asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade if he is aware of remarks made (details supplied) regarding the recouping of portions of the costs associated with the recent visit of members of the British royal family; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has received a request in relation to the reconciliation related costs associated with the visit earlier this year to Sligo by the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall.

However, no decision has yet been made on that request and it continues to receive attention.
