107. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to set out the status of payments to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry which have been delayed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [39863/15]
Amharc ar fhreagraAn application under the Basic Payment/Areas of Natural Constraints Schemes was received from the person named on 11 May 2015. The applications of the person named and other applicants on the commonage to which the Deputy refers have been examined. The commonage is over claimed in 2015. All applicants have produced various forms of commonage evidence to substantiate their applications. The Department is currently examining these applications with a view to payments issuing to the nominated bank accounts of the appropriate herd owners thereafter. An official from my Department will be in contact with the person named to apprise him of the situation.
