53. Deputy Willie Penrose asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection if a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath who is in receipt of disability allowance is entitled to the Christmas bonus; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [41146/15]
Amharc ar fhreagraI confirm that the person concerned is in receipt of disability allowance (DA). All recipients of DA will receive their Christmas bonus of 75% of their weekly amount, subject to a minimum bonus payment of €20.00. The bonus payment will be included in the normal weekly payment due to be paid on 2 December 2015.
