My Department was required to issue a letter to the person named and to the personal legal representative of the deceased former holder of the herd number shown advising that the Department had processed an application for the transfer of Single Payment Entitlements to the person named by way of inheritance under the Single Payment Scheme. The purpose of my Department’s letter to the person named was to establish if these inherited entitlements were transferred with or without land. This information was required in order to assist in the introduction of the new Basic Payment Scheme in 2015.
My Department has now processed the information provided by the person named and payment under the Basic Payment Scheme will issue shortly.
