492. Deputy Regina Doherty asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade the number of employees under his remit who are classified under a contract of indefinite duration; the number of these who are receiving incremental salary payments; and if he will make a statement on the matter. A total of 12 former Temporary Clerical Officers in my Department were awarded Contracts of Indefinite Duration as permanent Clerical Officers. All of them were granted incremental credit for salary purposes for their previous service in the Civil Service.
