Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the timeframe for laying the statutory instrument on the new tenant purchase scheme, which was signed on 17 November 2015, before the Houses of the Oireachtas; the reason for the delay; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Housing (Sale of Local Authority Houses) Regulations 2015 were signed on 30 October 2015 and were laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas on 4 November 2015.
