487. Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Education and Skills the cost per year of training a primary school teacher over the four years of the bachelor of education course in St. Patrick’s College, Dublin City University and Mary Immaculate College, Limerick. [43588/15]

St. Patrick's College and Mary Immaculate College are funded via the Higher Education Authority. The average unit cost is estimated by the Higher Education Authority to be between €10,000 - €12,000 per annum per student.
