Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Education and Skills the additional spending provided in a calendar year to primary schools with delivering equality of opportunity in schools status, including a breakdown of how this money has been spent; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The expenditure provided by my Department to the DEIS programme at Primary level in 2014 was approximately €70m. The allocated funding for 2015 is also approximately €70m.
