Deputy Niall Collins asked the Minister for Education and Skills her plans for the proposed secondary level school in Kingswood Heights in Tallaght in Dublin 24; if she will confirm the catchment area for the school; the priority that will be given to families in Kingswood Heights and Kilnamanagh in Dublin 24; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe school to which the Deputy refers will open in September 2016 to meet the demographic needs of the Tallaght area, including the areas referred to by the Deputy. While school authorities are responsible for their school's enrolment policy, as new schools are being established to meet the needs of a defined geographic area, enrolment policies are expected to be consistent with the criteria under which each school is being established.
