242. Deputy Dara Calleary asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when a person (details supplied) in County Sligo will receive farm payments; the reason for the delay; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [45329/15]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe closing date for receipt of applications under the 2015 Basic Payment/Areas of Natural Constraint Scheme was 29 May 2015. No application was lodged by the person named by that date. My Department is currently examining further documentation subsequently furnished under force majeure grounds. An official from my Department has already been in direct contact with the person named regarding this matter.
