223. Deputy Patrick O'Donovan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the reason for the delay in payment to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford under the basic payment scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3083/16]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person named submitted an application for the 2015 Basic Payment Scheme which was received in the Department on 29 May 2015.
The original and subsequent maps submitted on behalf of the person named are insufficient to allow completion of the processing of the application to a stage where payment can issue. An Official from my Department has been in contact on a number of occasions in recent days with the Agricultural Consultant of the person named in an effort to resolve the outstanding issues.
