507. Deputy Michael McCarthy asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the amount of revenue generated from road tax collected in County Cork from 1 January 2015 to date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3945/16]
Amharc ar fhreagraCork County Council collects motor tax on its own behalf and on behalf of Cork City Council and receipts are not calculated separately for the two local authority areas. Total gross receipts from motor tax in Cork in 2015 were €133,979,104. Details of motor tax receipts for January 2016 are not yet available.
