452. Deputy Seán Kyne asked the Minister for Education and Skills when she will sign a contract with the winning contractor for a new school building (details supplied) in County Galway; the reason for the delay; when work will start; and the timescale for the development of the project. [4848/16]
Amharc ar fhreagraScoil Phobail Community School, Clifden, County Galway, is at an advanced stage of the tender process for the provision of a new school and demolition of the existing building. The supplementary tender report for the project was recently submitted to the Department and is currently being reviewed. When the review is completed the Department will be in contact with the school authorities in relation to the further progression of the project.
