491. Deputy Denis Naughten asked the Minister for Education and Skills the current status of a school building project (details supplied) in County Roscommon; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [5137/16]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs the Deputy will be aware, a project to facilitate the amalgamation of two post primary schools at the location in question, is included in the 6 Year Construction Programme that I announced last November and is scheduled to proceed to tender and construction in 2018.
My Department is in ongoing contact with the school authorities in relation to initiating the architectural planning process for the project.
