279. Deputy Michael Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the reason for the delay in issuing payment to a person (details provided) in County Cork under the basic payment scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5652/16]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person named submitted a 2015 Private Contract Clause application to my Department seeking the transfer of land and entitlements by lease as Transferee. This application was fully processed and payment under the Basic Payment Scheme issued to the person named on 19th February 2016. Balancing payments are due to issue in late April/early May 2016 when all applications under the 2015 Basic Payment Scheme are finalised.
