388. Deputy Clare Daly asked the Minister for Health further to Parliamentary Question No. 82 of 2 February 2016, his views that the chronic staff shortages referred to have deteriorated further and now stand at over 50; the steps he will take to immediately address the deteriorating effect on vital services in Saint Joseph's Association for the intellectually disabled in Portrane in County Dublin. The recruitment of staff is primarily a matter for the HSE. I have asked the HSE to respond to the Deputy directly on this matter. If you have not received a reply from the HSE within 15 working days please contact my Private Office and they will follow up on the matter with them.
